John A. Hession, CPA, CFP
John is a founding partner of the firm with over 28 years of professional accounting, auditing, tax and business consulting experience. John has significant experience with manufacturing and high technology businesses as well as not for profit organizations. John has done extensive consulting with both large and small businesses in development of business strategies, mergers and acquisitions, tax planning techniques and problem resolution with the IRS. John has served as an expert witness in both federal and state courts concerning complex financial matters for clients.
John has contributed to several financial articles for publication and has hosted several professional seminars and speaking engagements as well as served as an instructor for continuing education programs sponsored by the AICPA. John is a member of both the
Massachusetts
and
New Hampshire
societies of Certified Public Accountants and is also a member of the NH Estate Planning Council.
John is a graduate of Boston College and serves on several not for profit Boards of Directors including Elliot Hospital, Visiting Nurse Association (VNA), the New Hampshire Art Institute and the Boston College Club of New Hampshire.
Thomas J. Pare, CPA, CFP
Tom is a founding partner of the firm with over 30 year of accounting, auditing, tax and business consulting experience. Tom has emphasized his practice on serving closely held entities including all aspects of balancing the corporate and individual financial planning for the owners of these businesses. Tom has assisted several clients with mergers, acquisitions, business sales as well as financial restructurings. Tom has also has served as an expert witness in both federal and state courts primarily in the area of small business valuation. Tom has represented several clients before the IRS, including settlement negotiations.
Tom received his undergraduate degree in accounting from
New Hampshire
College
and his MBA from
Babson
College
. Tom serves on several not for profit Boards of Directors in New Hampshire including the NH Chapter of the American Red Cross, In-town Manchester, and the Manchester Chamber of Commerce.
